What is GvG?
Guild vs Guild is Warsong's premier competitive PvP format. Two guilds face off in structured team battles where coordination, composition, and strategy matter more than individual gear or skill. It's the ultimate test for organized PvP guilds.
Organized Warfare
Challenge rival guilds to structured PvP battles. Coordinate strategies, assign roles, and fight as a coordinated unit — not a random pug.
Glory & Rewards
Victorious guilds earn exclusive titles, honor, and recognition on the server leaderboard. Top guilds each season receive unique rewards.
All Brackets
From small-scale skirmishes (5v5, 10v10) to full-scale guild wars (15v15, 25v25). Pick the format that suits your guild size.
How It Works
From signup to showdown in four simple steps.
Form Your Guild
Recruit players, build a balanced roster with tanks, healers, and DPS. You need a minimum of 5 players to enter.
Register for an Event
Sign up your guild for a weekly GvG event through a Game Master or on Discord. Registrations close 1 hour before start.
Show Up on Time
Be online with your full roster at the scheduled time. Late arrivals or missing players mean a forfeit.
Fight & Climb
Win matches to earn rating and climb the GvG ladder. Lose and you drop. Every fight matters.
Weekly Schedule
GvG events run on a fixed weekly schedule. Mark your calendars and show up ready. All times are in CET (Central European Time).
Wednesday
21:00 CET5v5 Skirmish
Fast-paced, small-scale team fights. Best of 3 rounds. Perfect for smaller guilds or practice nights.
Friday
21:00 CET10v10 Wargame
Mid-scale organized PvP. Best of 3 rounds with a 5-minute break between rounds. Balanced compositions required.
Sunday
20:00 CET15v15+ Grand Battle
The main event. Large-scale guild wars with full raid compositions. Single elimination bracket. The biggest guilds clash here.
How to sign up?
Guild leaders can register their guild for GvG events by contacting a Game Master in-game or through our Discord. Registrations close 1 hour before the event starts. Each guild must have the minimum number of players online and ready at the scheduled time. No-shows result in a forfeit.
Rules & Ranking
Fair play, clear rules, and a competitive ladder to climb.
Rules
- All participants must be level 80 with PvP-appropriate gear.
- No exploits, hacks, or third-party software. Violations result in immediate disqualification and ban.
- Each guild must have a designated leader who communicates with the referee (GM).
- Matches start at the scheduled time. A 10-minute grace period is given, after which it is a forfeit.
- Class stacking limits apply: no more than 3 of the same class per team in 10v10+.
- Consumables (flasks, food, potions) are allowed. Engineering items follow standard PvP rules.
- The GM referee has final say on all disputes. Decisions are not appealable.
